"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." — Carl Rogers

The well-being of our students is central to everything we do. As Student Counselor at WIN, I am committed to supporting students' social, emotional, and mental wellbeing, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. Guided by our belief that Every Child Matters, I work collaboratively with students, families, and staff to foster a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

I provide a supportive and confidential space where students can explore challenges, develop self-awareness, build resilience, and strengthen the skills needed to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Whether navigating friendships, managing emotions, coping with change, or overcoming personal challenges, students are encouraged to develop healthy coping strategies and a positive sense of self.

I am a CDA-licensed counselor, a Certified Mental Health First Aider and hold Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches that promote emotional regulation, resilience, positive relationships, and personal growth.

Beyond individual student support, I actively contribute to school-wide wellbeing initiatives, safeguarding practices, preventive education programs, and parent engagement opportunities. By promoting open conversations around mental health and wellbeing, I strive to create a culture where students feel comfortable seeking support, developing a strong sense of belonging, and growing into confident, compassionate, and emotionally intelligent young people.

I firmly believe that student wellbeing is the foundation for lifelong learning and success. Through strong partnerships with families, educators, and the wider school community, I am dedicated to helping every student discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and flourish both within and beyond the classroom.
